چکیده
Understanding the impact of natural processes and anthropogenic activities on geochemical evolution is vital for groundwater protection utilization. This research was devoted to identifying water quality status main controlling factors hydrochemical karst by combining hydrogeochemical indicators with multi-isotope analysis techniques in Heilongdong Spring Basin, North China. The results showed that area meteoric origin, dissolution carbonate minerals dominant water–rock interactions. Meanwhile, positive negative cation exchange occurred process. types were HCO3-Ca·Mg HCO3-Ca recharge area, while predominant HCO3·SO4-Ca·Mg HCO3·SO4-Ca runoff discharge area. Under influence coal mining other factors, average concentrations major ions kept rising where mines distributed, SO42? changed most study In addition, sewage from agricultural production domestic sources had also negatively impacted regional as evidenced increasing NO3? Cl? contents Quaternary sediment groundwater, Permian bedrock a small portion groundwater. These helpful explain mechanism gradual changes provided scientific basis effective management utilization

Climate Change and Its Influence on the Karst Groundwater Recharge in the Jinci Spring Region, Northern China
Due to climate change and human activities over the last fifty years, the spring flow volume of karst groundwater has sharply diminished in China. Climate change is one of the critical factors that initiates a series of karst hydrogeologic and water ecological environmental problems, because the precipitation shows a decreasing trend while the temperature shows an increasing trend. The Jinci Sp...

Based on analysis of groundwater hydrochemical and isotopic indicators, this article aims to identify the groundwater flow systems in the Yangwu River alluvial fan, in the Xinzhou Basin, China. Groundwater delta(2)H and delta(18)O values indicate that the origin of groundwater is mainly from precipitation, with local evaporative influence. d-excess values lower than 10% in most groundwaters sug...

متن کاملStudy of evaluation of groundwater in Gadilam basin using hydrogeochemical and isotope data.
Gadilam river basin has gained its importance due to the presence of Neyveli Lignite open cast mines and other industrial complexes. It is also due to extensive depressurization of Cuddalore aquifer, and bore wells for New Veeranam Scheme are constructed downstream of the basin. Geochemical indicators of groundwater were used to identify the chemical processes that control hydrogeochemistry. Ch...

This study was carried out in the Ravar plain, a typical arid zone in southeastern Iran, with the objectives of evaluating hydrochemical quality of the groundwater resources and identifying the processes that modify the groundwater composition. Groundwater samples were collected from representative wells spread over the study area. Major cations and anions along with physico-chemical parameters...
